Commissioning

Our Commissioning Team works with all services across the Council to look at the most effective and efficient way of delivering the products and the services that our residents and communities need. At the same time, the team ensures that the Council gets good value for money and that contracts with external suppliers are meeting our requirements, are compliant and add social value.

Our ambition is to think radically and to challenge and change how public services are delivered. We are moving away from a focus on traditional savings, to new innovative approaches and new ways of working that help us deliver our strategic objectives and achieve better outcomes for our residents.
